Is there anyone at UCF who has been instrumental in your success as a first-year student?  If so, please take the time to nominate a faculty member (professor) or staff member in any department who you feel has been a positive influence to your educational experience.  In addition to giving awards in those categories, LINK is also awarding the UCF department that has been most instrumental to first year students’ success.

Who can be nominated?
Any UCF faculty, staff or department. We will be giving awards in each category.

How do you nominate someone?

You can nominate one faculty member, one staff member and one department for the award. You will receive 500 Loot points (for a maximum of 1500 points) for each category in which you submit a nomination.

Faculty Nomination
Staff/Administrator Nomination
Department Nomination

What is the deadline?
The deadline for nomination of all categories is Monday, March 31, 2008.

What is the selection and award process?
All nominations will be reviewed by a committee of LINK first year students and winners will be selected based on the number of nominations received and supporting statements.  The awards will be distributed at the Annual Student Development and Enrollment Services (SDES) Breakfast in April.  The winners will be posted on the LINK web site.
